How it works

Three steps from city records to a call you make before anyone else.

01

Pick your area & jobs

Choose a service area by ZIP code or neighborhood, plus the job types you care about: demolition, new construction, or renovations above a value you set.

02

We filter the city data

Every day we pull the newly issued Austin permits, keep only what matches your area and job types, and include the contractor's company and phone as filed on the permit.

03

Call first, by 7 AM

One short email each morning with address, ZIP, scope and who to call. Add a weekly recap if you want one.

A real alert

FAQ

Isn't permit data free?

Yes, it's public, and you can search the city portal yourself. DigList saves you the daily digging: we filter it to your job types and area, include the contractor's company and phone, and put it in your inbox before your trucks roll.

Which permits are included?

Demolition, new construction, additions and remodels, roofing, and large or commercial building permits. Pools and event permits are left out. Tell us what's useful for your work and we'll tune it.

How fresh is the data?

Each alert covers permits the city published the previous business day. The city's data can lag by a day; we send what's available by 7 AM Central.

Where do you cover?

Currently serving the City of Austin.

How does the free week work?

No card needed. Email us your job types and service area and alerts start the next morning. At the end of the week we send a Stripe payment link. Pick One area ($99/mo) or Citywide ($149/mo) to keep going, or do nothing and the alerts stop. You are never billed automatically after the free week. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel.

Can I cancel?

Anytime. Reply to any alert or email michael@getdiglist.com. See our refund & cancellation policy.

Do you include homeowners' names?

No. We list the property address, permit details and the business contractor of record only.
